Reading list and wider opportunities


 I read the MM52 media magazine and learnt some new concepts within media. I highly enjoyed learning about politics within the magazine because it helps me see the wider views of society. Also it helps me understand the deeper context of media. Such as how the government can see our every move and what we do. This enables them to see our preferences and give us content on our phones from their research.

My favourite parts: The guardian columnist left wing activist explains passion for politics, Relationship between audiences, institution and radical politics and Significance of a TV title. 

I am delighted that i was able to achieve bursary as now i can get the textbooks and the media theorists books. I am exited to read them because learning about media is a thing i have always has a passion for. These books will help to wider my understanding on media as well as be able to apply better theoretical terminology to my blog tasks in the future. In the future i will be looking into a lot more media magazines because I think that they will help me with my coursework because they are very creative.

Film and TV Language

  Bladerunner  -  1)The genre of the film poster is sci-fi and action.  2)This is because the posters facial expressions of the characters show the amount of aggresion. The poster shows an  enigma code  because it makes us think .As well as this the title 'Blade runner' shoes the idea that the protagonists could be running away from something which shows the action.The  colour schemes  of the building symbol the idea that the film could contain futueristic scenes.  Blue, white and black. 3)Overall I think that the film is about   h umans vs robots   and the action between them. Mise-en-scene blog tasks

Costume -  Red can signify energy, boldness, danger, passion. It suggests the driver is assertive or central. The motorbike implies mobility perhaps risk or freedom. The passenger’s more subdued and less visual prominence may indicate a supporting role or possibly internal tension. Lighting -  The warm red draws eye immediately to the driver showing dominance and agency. The contrast might hint at character differences, binary opposition. Natural lighting gives realism but possibly also a sense of openness and exposure. Actor (placement and movement) - The two women are central, front‑facing as the driver is in clearer focus.
