Maya Media - Coursework

I've decided to do a montage based on videos where the first half is based on show casting attractions of the city/town where the piece of music is parallel of 50 cent ; 'big rich town'. Whereas the second half is videos of my professional cultural bhangra dance where the dance may seem to be parallel but my thinking behind it was that the videos of me dancing , would make you wonder what music is playing in the background. :) Enjoy x https://youtube.com/shorts/IRdQcBjHqU4?feature=share  

  1)This image displays low-key lighting. This because there is no large source of light and it is very minimal. Lowkey lighting is created by only using key and back light .The effect produces strong contrasts of light(the smoke) and dark(the woman)known as chiaroscuro 2)The image depicts back lighting as it comes from one side behind her face. 3)There is a  binary opposition  shown in the lowkey lighting. This is because the light(smoke) makes there be a sense of mystery within the extract as it covers her face. feedback Mr Bush  - highlight media key words  - more detail in script   - use range of description   - detail in shot list   class feedback (EBI)  - was to edit my script in more depth   - add stage direction and setting   - correct the shot list in greater depth    WWW class / Mr Bush   - good planning   - good setting   - use of props    Based on the EBI and WWW, i have been able to produce great production of bend it like Beckham as i followed the précised use of props , clear audio and tone of voice. However the common EBI was matching facial expressions and the theory part with the script and shot list. As my first time doing a task like this it was minor EBI as my video was great .  I read the MM52 media magazine and learnt some new concepts within media. I highly enjoyed learning about politics within the magazine because it helps me see the wider views of society. Also it helps me understand the deeper context of media. Such as how the government can see our every move and what we do. This enables them to see our preferences and give us content on our phones from their research. My favourite parts: The guardian columnist left wing activist explains passion for politics, Relationship between audiences, institution and radical politics and Significance of a TV title.  I am delighted that i was able to achieve bursary as now i can get the textbooks and the media theorists books. I am exited to read them because learning about media is a thing i have always has a passion for. These books will help to wider my understanding on media as well as be able to apply better theoretical terminology to my blog tasks in the future. In the future i...
